A WEEKEND OF LOVE: ONESMUS & TONDERAI BANDA
Sunday, 09August 2026 was a beautiful reminder that love comes with different chapters, and Malawi got to witness two of them on the same day.
On one side, Onesmus was surrounded by friends, family and loved ones at his bridal shower; a celebration filled with laughter, excitement, memories and anticipation for the big day ahead. It was more than just a party; it was a moment to celebrate the journey that has brought him this far and the new chapter waiting for him.
At the same time, Tonderai Banda was taking that big step himself. With family and friends gathered, Tonderai officially began a new chapter as he said “I do.” From the emotions of the ceremony to the celebrations that followed, it was a day marking the beginning of a beautiful journey.
Interestingly, while Onesmus was celebrating the moments before the wedding, Tonderai was celebrating the wedding itself.
Two different events. Two different love stories. But one beautiful message — love, commitment and new beginnings are always worth celebrating.
Congratulations to both Onesmus and Tonderai Banda. May their journeys ahead be filled with happiness, peace and plenty of beautiful memories.
