FDH Bank Plc and the Ekhaya Group have officially announced a major partnership with Landlord Entertainment to sponsor the highly anticipated Landlord Pakwao Concert. The mega music festival, headlined by Malawian hip-hop icon Gwamba and Nigerian superstar Ruger, is scheduled to take place at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on 1 August 2026.
The corporate backing was unveiled on Tuesday during a press briefing in Blantyre, where the companies finalised the agreement.
Sheila Kanjo, Marketing Manager for FDH Financial Holdings, stated that the bank is heavily committed to driving the growth of Malawi's creative economy through strategic sponsorships.
The concert has already created massive buzz following its venue upgrade from Civo Stadium to the larger Bingu National Stadium to accommodate the expected crowds. Beyond the co-headliners Gwamba and Ruger, the festival boasts an elite roster of local talent, including: Zeze Kingston, Eli Njuchi, Miracle Chinga, Kell Kay, Saint Realest and Charisma.
